ELARA started with a trip to Korea.

Our founder had spent years trying every eye cream, serum and concealer trick she could find. Nothing really changed the tired, hollow look under her eyes.

On a visit to Seoul, she kept noticing the same thing: women in their 40s and 50s with bright, rested-looking skin. When she asked what they used, one word kept coming up: PDRN.

PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a purified ingredient taken from salmon DNA. Korean skin clinics use it in treatments that cost hundreds of dollars a session, and it's a big reason so many Korean routines focus on helping skin repair itself.

Back home, she couldn't find anything like it that you could use yourself. So she started ELARA to bring Korean PDRN skincare home, in a simple balm you can swipe on in seconds, with no clinic appointment and no needles.

We're still a small team, and we like to keep things simple: a few products made with ingredients that actually work, formulated in Korea, with a 30-day trial so you can see the difference for yourself.
